About MEDMOS

The Mediterranean Monitoring System (MEDMOS) is an initiative of the Meteorology and Climatology Area at the Mediterranean Center for Environmental Studies devoted to the surveillance and analysis of the Mediterranean Sea. It is mainly focused on SST and its associated extreme event, marine heatwaves (MHW) and projected to expand to other relevant related marine information.

Mediterranean State report

The Mediterranean State report aims to monitor long-term changes in SST, and its extreme events (MHWs), and to serve as a meeting point to the to the Mediterranean SST scientific community but also to provide information to stakeholders and media interested in climate change and its impacts.
