Mediterr\u00e1neo y sus interacciones con la atm\u00f3sfera desempe\u00f1an un papel fundamental en sus condiciones ambientales.<\/p>\n<p>El Informe sobre la SST del Mediterr\u00e1neo es una iniciativa del \u00e1rea de Meteorolog\u00eda y Climatolog\u00eda del Centro Mediterr\u00e1neo de Estudios Ambientales (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ceam.es\/\">CEAM<\/a>) para revisar y actualizar peri\u00f3dicamente la climatolog\u00eda y la tendencia de la temperatura superficial del mar (SST) en la cuenca mediterr\u00e1nea. Este bolet\u00edn se publicar\u00e1 estacionalmente y tiene como objetivo difundir el estado del arte sobre la SST del Mediterr\u00e1neo, as\u00ed como proporcionar informaci\u00f3n a las partes interesadas y a los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n interesados en el cambio clim\u00e1tico. En este contexto, el conocimiento de la evoluci\u00f3n pasada y las tendencias futuras de la SST es crucial para comprender los escenarios clim\u00e1ticos futuros. Estudios recientes han destacado el papel de la SST como un factor clave para el desarrollo y\/o la intensificaci\u00f3n de los eventos de precipitaciones intensas (HPE) en la cuenca mediterr\u00e1nea y otras zonas del mundo, as\u00ed como su papel en las olas de calor en Europa.
